Custom Formula Widget

The Custom Formula Widget lets you create interactive calculators by applying your own formulas. It’s perfect for building price estimators, cost calculators, ROI tools, loan/mortgage calculators, fitness trackers, or any custom calculation that fits your business. By letting visitors enter values and instantly see results, you make your site more engaging and useful.

1. Start with a Template

What you’ll see:

• Layout options like Simple Calculator, Multi-Field Calculator, Compact Box, or Full-Width Formula

• A Continue with this template button

What to do:

• Preview each template to see how inputs and results are displayed

• Choose the one that matches your needs and click Continue to start customizing

2. Use the Editing Tabs

After selecting your layout, you’ll work with three tabs:

• Content – Add fields, formulas, and labels

• Style – Adjust how it looks

• Settings – Control how it works and behaves

3. Customize Your Formula

Content Tab

Here’s where you build your calculator:

• Input Fields – Add text boxes, dropdowns, sliders, or checkboxes for user inputs

• Formula Builder – Define your calculation using math operators (+, -, ×, ÷)

• Result Display – Decide where and how results appear

• Labels & Instructions – Guide users on how to use the calculator

This tab defines the core function of your widget.

Style Tab

Make your calculator look professional:

• Fonts & Sizes – Customize inputs, labels, and results

• Colors – Match buttons, text, and backgrounds with your branding

• Layout Options – Show fields inline, stacked, or in multiple columns

• Spacing & Alignment – Control how cleanly everything sits on the page

Settings Tab

Fine-tune behavior and functionality:

• Validation Rules – Control what kind of data users can enter

• Default Values – Pre-fill fields to make usage faster

• Reset Button – Allow users to clear fields easily

• Mobile Optimization – Ensure it works well on smaller screens

• Custom Code – Add advanced functions if needed

• Keep formulas simple for better user experience

• Use labels and instructions to guide visitors

• Highlight results with bold text or color

• Test different inputs to ensure your formula works correctly

• Always click Save after editing
