The Facebook ChatBot widget helps you chat with your customers automatically on Facebook Messenger. It’s a great way to answer questions, give support, and send helpful messages—without needing someone to reply every time. This widget makes it easier to stay in touch with people, even when you’re not online.
1. Start with a Template
What you’ll see:
ChatBot layout options like Welcome Message, Quick Replies, or Simple Flow
A Continue with this template button
What to do:
Click on the layout that fits what you need
Click Continue to start setting up your bot
2. Use the Editing Tabs
Once you pick your template, you’ll see three tabs:
Content – Add messages, questions, and replies
Style – Adjust the look and tone of your messages
Settings – Connect your Facebook page and manage when the bot responds
3. Set Up Your ChatBot
Content Tab
This is where you create your chatbot's messages:
Welcome Message – Say hello when someone starts a chat
Quick Reply Buttons – Add options for users to choose from
Automated Replies – Send answers to common questions (like hours or pricing)
Message Flows – Guide people step-by-step based on their replies
You can build conversations that feel natural and helpful.
Style Tab
Change how your bot talks and looks:
Text Tone – Keep it friendly, professional, or casual
Emoji & Formatting – Add emojis or line breaks to make messages easier to read
Delay Timing – Add a short delay between messages so it feels more real
This helps your chatbot feel like a real person chatting.
Settings Tab
Control when and how the chatbot works:
Connect Page – Link your Facebook Business Page
Reply Timing – Decide when the bot should respond
Fallback Message – Set a message for when the bot doesn’t understand
Pause/Resume – Let real people take over the chat if needed
This section helps you control the full chat experience.
Helpful Tips
Use the Content tab to create your chat messages and replies

Always click "Save" after making changes!
