Developer Clifford Paulick of TourKick LLC (@TourKick on the socials) has used this Google Maps address validation/standardization for years across multiple CRM platforms. You just gotta have good address data. It'll save you from wasted postage fees and speed up your data entry.
This allows your team to input addresses into your Contact Details without worrying about consistent punctuation or having to enter every. single. address. field. manually (which is error-prone).
Enter good enough address data like "123 Easy Street, 12345" and the rest will get filled in for you if a valid match is found. It includes protection against Partial Match addresses and also gives you extra data like latitude and longitude geo coordinates, the county name, Google Maps Link, and Google Place ID.
Whether you trigger it from our pre-built Workflow our accompanying "GAddress Snapshot" product in the Marketplace (whenever a Contact is created or updated and has a non-empty Street Address Line 1) or use it in other ways, you can expect your CRM to be full of valid, standardized addresses. Hallelujah!
Our pre-built Workflow protects against invalid triggering, such as when a non-address field was updated for a Contact, saving you money by only doing address lookups when they make sense to... and it's fully customizable.
The Workflow Action will make the cleaned data available to you so you can decide how you want to update your contact, whether it be the standard address fields (duh), custom fields, add a Note, etc.

FAQs:
1) Why is this valuable?
It's better to have no address for a Contact than an incorrect one. This Workflow Action enables you to have an automated way to keep your address data pristine. Don't waste time driving to the wrong side of town where there's a similar address, or wasting money on shipping to the wrong mailbox.
2) Are you really hitting the Google Maps API?
Yes. We're not serving you cached lookups or something weird like that; it's directly to the Google Maps API and back to you so you can use them however you want within your CRM.
3) Is the pricing fair?
This app keeps things simple, flexible, and inexpensive for you without any monthly fee! We maintain the code and pay for the API usage. Plus, you don't have a monthly fee. We're charging you just enough to recoup our costs—costs you would otherwise have yourself anyway. And our code is time-tested, saving you from all the gotchas of working with the Google Maps API. We save you from all this DIY: create a Google Developer account, create an API key, give that key proper permissions, enable billing, make sure your billing doesn't get disabled (common because your credit card expired or had an issue with fraud detection), handle partial address matches, connect to the CRM's API (oAuth), only update if there's a relevant change, and more... and you only pay if/when you use it, which is about as fair as it gets!
4) What about infinite looping?
Good question... get our accompanying "GAddress Snapshot" product in the Marketplace, which includes Workflows and Custom Fields so you'll be up-and-running quickly and without infinite loop worries. We've tested many times, and it does not seem a problem the way we've set it up. If you notice any issues, just contact us for support.
5) How reliable is your data?
We've tried many, many address data providers over the years, and nothing else comes close to Google Maps. If you think you found a better alternative, consider its accuracy, scalability, pricing, and international support (some APIs only serve addresses in the United States).
6) Are there any guarantees?
This software is made available to you without any guarantees or warranties of any kind, neither express nor implied. Use at your own risk. If any problems arise, reach out to us right away with as much detail as possible so we can hopefully fix the issue and prevent it from happening again in the future for you and everyone else.
7) Are you trustworthy?
We're located in Oklahoma, USA and have been in business since 2010. We're in good standing, regularly contribute free resources, and provide various types of services and training for lead generation, lead management, automations, APIs, coding, etc.
8) What are the limitations?
Right now, you can send us as much or as little data—but we NEED it to have a Street Address (Address Line 1). We'll perform the lookup and send you back what we found. Our pre-built Workflow from our accompanying "GAddress Snapshot" product in the Marketplace will also auto-update your Contact's address fields (including Custom Fields) but NOT the Country or Time Zone fields. Although technically possible, it's more involved to do that compared to all the other fields so let us know if you want this functionality or if you have any other suggestions.
