Marquee Advertisement Widget Guide
The Marquee Advertisement widget lets you add scrolling text to your website. It’s great for sharing messages like updates, sales, or announcements in a way that stands out but doesn’t get in the way. The moving text helps draw attention without being distracting.
1. Start with a Template
What you’ll see:
Layout choices like Top Bar Scroll, Full-Width Text, or Inline Strip
A Continue with this template button
What to do:
Click a layout to see a preview
Choose the one you like and click Continue to start editing
2. Use the Editing Tabs
Once you pick a layout, you’ll see three tabs:
Content – Add the messages you want to show
Style – Adjust how everything looks
Settings – Set how the scrolling works
3. Customize Your Marquee
Content Tab
Use this tab to add your messages:
Text – Type the message you want people to see
Multiple Messages – Add more than one if needed
Links – Connect the message to a page or link if someone clicks on it
Order – Arrange the messages in the order you want them to appear
Good for sharing news, special deals, or time-sensitive updates.
Style Tab
Change how the text looks and where it appears:
Font & Size – Pick the text style
Colors – Choose background and text colors
Spacing – Adjust the space around the text
Position – Place the text at the top, bottom, or anywhere on the page
Scroll Speed – Set how fast the text moves across the screen
Use these settings to make the marquee match your website.
Settings Tab
Decide how the text behaves:
Looping – Let the text scroll again and again or just once
Start Delay – Set how long to wait before the scroll starts
Pause on Hover – Allow users to stop the scroll by hovering over it
Mobile Settings – Make sure it works well on phones and tablets
Extra Code – Add your own styling if needed
These options help you control how the marquee works.
