Open Dental Connector (Sub-Account Edition) is a specialized data synchronization solution designed exclusively for sub-accounts. It seamlessly integrates Open Dental with external platforms, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange. Leveraging advanced APIs and automation, the app enables reliable synchronization of patients, providers, and appointments. With dedicated processes for initial and ongoing synchronization, this solution empowers dental practices with enhanced operational efficiency, allowing them to manage their data effortlessly.

App Flow Overview:

• Once the app is installed, it redirects to the registration page where users need to register themselves.

• After registration, users can log in, which will redirect them to the dashboard page.

• On the dashboard, users will see a configuration error message; clicking on it redirects to the configuration page.

• On the configuration page, users must:

  • Enter their Open Dental Developer Key and Customer Key.

  • Select the time zone used in the Open Dental software.

• After saving the configuration, users are redirected to the next step, where they need to:

  • Select a sync start date (from which patients should begin syncing into their CRM).

• Once submitted, users are redirected to the field mapping page, where they need to:

  • Map Open Dental fields to corresponding CRM fields for patient data binding.

• After completing the mapping, patient synchronization will begin automatically.

• Once patients and providers are synced, the appointment checkbox becomes enabled.

  • Users can then follow a similar process for appointments:

    • Map Open Dental operatories to their CRM calendar for accurate appointment synchronization.
